その場に居合わせ、場に帰属する出来事や事物を採集・記送・共布する。地域関係者へのヒアリングやスケッチによる国有の長素を抽出し、その場から得られた”気づき”を撮り下ける。
1. Fieldwork
Be there, collect, describe, and share happenings, things and events that belong to the specific place.Extract unique elements from interviews with local collaborators and sketches and delve further into the “discoveries” obtained from the place.
2. リサーチ
場を知覚経験している自身を含め、空間を構成するさまざまな要素と観察主体と観察対象の関係性を考察し、まちに対する“気づき”を他者と共有する。
2. Research
Including oneself who has personally experienced the place, examine relationships among various elements comprising the space and the observation subject and object, and share “discoveries” about the town with others.
3. デザイン指針の策定
当該エリアに対するゼミメンバーの“気づき”を可視化するプロセスを経験し、まちに対する関わり方を捉え直し、デザインプロジェクトの方針を策定定する。
3. Design Policy Planning
Experience the process to visualize “discoveries” of the area by seminar members, reexamine their approach to the town, and build a policy for the design project.
4. アイディエーション
地域関係者の協力のもと、観察から得られた知見に基づいて、実地にて身体を動かしながら、まちに対するサイトスペシフィック・アートのデザインアプローチを検討する。
4. Ideation
With the cooperation of the local collaborators and based on the knowledge acquired from observations, physically move around the site and examine the design approach of the site-specific art for the locality.
5. プロトタイピング
作品設置場所の検討作業と併せて、実寸サイズのモックアップによる試作を重ね、実地にて身体を動かしながら造形検証を行う（ボディーストーミング）。
5. Prototyping
Along with the examination of the installation location, create life-size mockups for trials and errors and physically move around to verify the form of the work on the site (body storming).
6. 企画構想から社会展開へ
造形検証を踏まえ、まちに対するアートワークの位置づけを明確化し、企画構想を取りまとめた資料を作成し、地域関係者を交えて展示場所の交渉・調整を行う。
6. From Conceptualization and Planning to Social Deployment
Based on the form verification, clarify the significance of the artwork for the town, prepare materials summarizing the plan and the concept, and negotiate and coordinate with the local collaborators about the installation site.
7. フィジビリティー・スタディー
実地において作品の実現可能性を検証する。悪天候時（強風や雨天）への対処方法の検討、設置環境・近隣環境への配慮、現地生活者や所有者との調整などを含む。
7. Feasibility Study
On the site, verify feasibility of the work which includes examination of measures for bad weather (e.g. strong wind, rain), consideration for the installation and neighborhood environments, and coordination with local residents and owners.
8. 作品の梱包・搬送・現地設置
作品を搬送するための木枠梱包(クレート)を自作し、2tトラックで作品を現地に搬送。
8. Packing, Transport and Installation Build a crate for the work and transport the work to the installation site with 2-ton truck.
9. 作品設置
設置エリアごとにグループに分かれ、設置作業に関わるタスクを分担し、実地での作品の設置・調整を行う。一部作品については、設置環境側への配慮を要するため現地施工を行った。
9. Art Installation
Form groups according to the installation areas, assign tasks related to the installation work, and install and coordinate the works on the site. Some works were built on the site due to consideration for the installation environment
10.実地検証
会期中は、現地にてアートワークの現場に居合わせる人々や場を観察する。作品の状態確認に加え、展示場所に関わる地域関係者へのヒアリング、実地での作品レヴューを実施。
10. Onsite Verification
During the exhibition, visit the artwork installation sites to observe visitors and locations. In addition to the confirmation of the conditions of the works, interview local collaborators about the installation sites and conduct onsite review of the artworks.
